National Children’s Dental Health Month

National Children's Dental Health MonthFebruary is National Children’s Dental Health Month!

National Children’s Dental Health Month is an observance that brings together thousands of dedicated dental professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others.

The Message

This year’s NCDHM campaign slogan is “Brush and clean in between to build a healthy smile”. Throughout the month, the ADA will be encouraging parents and kids to not only clean the tops and sides of their teeth, but also in between each tooth! Regular brushing, flossing and eating healthy are all important steps to keeping our teeth clean in between! We invite you to help spread the message — together we can help keep smiles sparkling.

NCDHM Program Planning Guide

The NCDHM Program Planning Guide provides program coordinators, dental societies, teachers, and parents with resources to promote the benefits of good oral health to children.  The guide includes easy-to-do activities, program planning timetable tips, a sample NCDHM proclamation, and much, much more.
