How does tooth banking happen?tooth banking

Tooth banking is simple and poses no risk to the client. On the day of the tooth extraction, take the NDPL collection kit to your dentist’s office. Upon extraction, the dentist will place your tooth/teeth (up to 4*) in a sterile transport medium found in the collection kit, which will then be shipped priority overnight to the NDPL laboratory. To see a quick video on the simple process, click here.

Research shows that as a person ages, the quality and quantity of the stem cells decrease. Banking dental pulp early preserves the stem cell functionality, so baby teeth are excellent candidates for saving dental stem cells.

If you are having your wisdom teeth extracted, it is an excellent time to bank dental stem cells, since they are typically extracted at a younger age, and usually removed in healthy condition.
