Today is National Dentist’s Day!
National Dentist’s Day is observed annually every March 6, and is a day set aside to remind us to say “Thank You” and show appreciation to your dentist. The day is also a day to remind everyone about the importance of regular dental checkups, and to encourage proper dental care.
We’re thankful not only for our dentists, but also our Dentist Providers, who help us educate parents about the unique opportunity of dental stem cell banking.
How to Observe
A little goes a long way! If you’re a patient with an appointment this week, tell your dentist that you’re thankful for the role they play in your overall dental and medical health. If you’re not due in the office for a while, a quick email, or e-card will surely be received with warm smiles. Check out the National Dentist’s Day website for other suggested ways that patients can celebrate.
If you are a dental office, the National Dentist’s Day website has printable posters and social media images, as well as some tips on how your office can celebrate the day.
If you are not already in the habit of using them, this would be a great day to make a commitment to better dental habits. If you’re joining in on the celebration, use #NationalDentistsDay to post on social media.
