Week of Action

What an impressive turnout for The March for Science On Earth Day, this last Saturday. What next? We’re smack dab in the middle of The Week of Action, and there’s lots that can be done. But first, let’s take a quick look back on the Saturday’s action.

In over 600 locations across the world, people gathered to express how important science is to them, and to our society. Locally, Week of Action - March for Science Providenceone of our NDPL team members made their voice heard down at the Providence rally. Despite the rain, well over a thousand people came out to the rally on the Rhode Island State House lawn, proceeded by a march through the city.

Elsewhere around the globe, the turnouts were just as impressive. From The North Pole to down under, millions of people showed how up to voice their support for science, and to express their concerns about it’s integrity being upheld.
